Sending deepest condolences to Jeff's dear mother and brothers, who meant so much to him. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Jeff was one of the first friends I made at Penn State. We both lived in East Halls and I remember meeting him out on the lawn next to the dorms, where he was playing frisbee with a bunch of folks I would also come to know. We often joked about making the trek from East Halls to campus in the dead of winter, when howling winds cut through even the heaviest parkas, and seemed to dare us to stay on the path to our classes. He was so friendly, funny and kind. We shared a great love of music and animals. I'm grateful we kept in touch over the years. I was shocked to hear the news that he passed and know that he will be sorely missed by his brothers and mom, who he loved so much, and by the many people whose lives he touched over the years.

All the years combine/They melt into a dream
A broken angel sings/From a guitar
In the end there's just a song/Comes crying up the night
Through all the broken dreams/And vanished years

RIP dear friend. xox
