Robert J. Doyle (RJ) 48, of East Petersburg, PA died on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Lancaster General Hospital as a result of a motorcycle accident that occurred on August 27, 2023. Born in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of Robert Lynn Doyle of Imler, PA and Mary Helen Moretti-Presley of Alexandria, VA.
RJ was an area resident all his life and a 1993 graduate of the Coatesville Area Senior High School. He was employed as a millwright since 2003, by Cleveland-Cliffs Steel Mill in Coatesville.
He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed biking, snow skiing and especially loved being involved in and supporting his sons in their various sports and activities.
He is survived, in addition to his parents, by two sons; Gavin J. Doyle and Grayson K. Doyle, both of East Petersburg, four siblings; Autumn Wiker of Ephrata, PA, Amber Padora of Colorado, Joshua Beideman of New Holland and Andrew Beideman also of New Holland, PA, and his aunt; Michael Anne Whitely(Moretti).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 12:00 noon at the Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365 with visitation at the church from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
