I was so sorry to hear that Elmer had passed away. He was a man of many trades.  When I lived in Parkesburg on that steep hill, he automatically came to plow my driveway without me calling.  May God give your family comfort and peace and hold onto your memories.

Elmer was one my best friends growing up in Parkesburg. We did a lot of things in High School together. We were on the track team at one time, he was a fast sprinter. We worked at the farmers market in Downingtown. He took over the Pizza stand when I took over the roasted chicken stand. Met a lot of girls working there. He had a 1958 maroon Chevy that was really neat. Wonder what that would be worth today?Have lost another member of the class of 1964 Octorara. Also another friend from east second avenue. Jimmy Whitmer, and Sherrie Sagner on that same street. I can just visualize him driving that car in heaven.

Sorry to hear of Elmers passing  He is for sure in a better place.  When I was his caregiver all he talked about is his car. He was not one to give up on anything was very persistent  to get things done while in his wheel chair.  I won’t be able to make his celebration of life . Will be in remembrance on that day.
