Steven Ray Gilmore, 27, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday, June 24th, 2022 under the care of Reading Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Celya (D'Agostino) Gilmore.

Born at Brandywine Hospital, Steven was the son of Christine Gilmore and Steven Guest.  

He was a 2015 graduate of Octorara High School.  

Steven enjoyed riding his Yamaha R6, spending time at Lake Wallenpaupack, and eating pepperoni pizza, steak, baked mac and cheese, and "cuzzo chocolate cake."  He loved his dogs, "Gizzmo" and "Baby Girl" and his cats, "Oranges" and "Flowers."  He was a fairy tale husband and a wonderful father, who never told his girls "no" and enjoyed doing anything they wanted.  He was a kindhearted man who never held a grudge.

Steven is also survived by his two daughters, Mariana Gilmore and Xiomara Gilmore; siblings, Jackson, Cody, Ryan, Destiny, and Nichole; paternal grandparents, Carol Guest and Peg and Richard Horning; maternal grandparents, Steven, and Patricia Gilmore; Aunt Kimberly, Uncle Tony, and cousin Ashley, and a bunch of aunts and uncles.  

Steven was predeceased by his father Norman Horning, brother Zane Spotts, and grandfather, Richard Bryson.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 6th at 11 AM at Parkesburg Methodist Church, 411 Main St, Parkesburg, PA 19365, followed by interment at Glen Run Cemetery of Atglen.  The viewing will be at the Church from 9 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Celya.

Wow!! Just so sad!! Stevie was the guy that would help anyone. He would give you the shirt off his back. Stevie, you were one of a kind. Rest Easy and keep watching over your wife and daughters. You're no longer in pain. It's sad that God needed you up there and had to take you away. These are things we will never understand. But just know he's in a better place. Rest In Peace kid!!!
