My sincerest sympathies to you and your family. Debbie was a dedicated, knowledgeable, and highly respected employee whose presence brought sunshine from the time she came in until the time she left each day. She cheerfully decorated our service area each holiday and her office was filled with pictures of her family which made her beam when talking about them. I am deeply saddened by your loss.  Debbie was a colleague and friend for many years.  If it wasn't for her, I would not have had the opportunity to work in Human Resources at both Brandywine Hospital and at the VA Medical Center.  She will be missed!  Praying for you all.

My sincerest condolences to the Weaver Family.  My thoughts and prayers are to you during this most difficult time.  Debbie was such a pleasure to work with.  I had nothing but the utmost respect for her and I knew I could count on her for any oddball HR question I may have had.  In turn she would always reach out to me whenever she needed any kind of computer assistance and I would always be sure to provide my best white glove service.  She will be sorely missed by her VA family.  May god keep you and watch over you.   --Kevin 

I am so heartbroken to hear of this news.  You were always the go to and sometime to just drop by and say hello because you were always so wonderful to talk to. I also liked talking to you about family (yours and mine) because family meant everything to you.

Dear Chip and Weaver Family: Sending prayers of comfort and peace in the loss of Debbie. She was a grade school friend and it was so nice when she came to the VA. It was always good to talk with her. She assisted me with my retirement process and it was an added plus that she was someone I knew. She will be missed.

Dear Chip, Michael, Jonathan, David and Alex, My heart is broken. Debbie and I have been friends for 50 years. She was always such a wonderful friend and a beautiful person. So sorry to hear about Debbie's passing. Worked with her at Brandywine and the Coatesville VA. She was patient and always willing to help including my retirement papers last year. She had a wealth of knowledge about the HR processes like no other.

I have worked with Debbie for 4 years and besides knowing everything about everything lol - she was such a joy to be around.  She has helped me immensely numerous times and I found myself just stopping by to say hi on many occasions.  Her passing shook me and I just wanted you to know how loved she was here at the VA.  Thoughts and prayers go out to her family in this most difficult of times.

I would like to send you, Debbie's Family my Deepest sympathies in the loss of your wife, CHIP and your Son's and their Families. I've known Debbie since she worked at HR at Brandywine Hospital and when her 3 youngest sons worked in the Nutrition Services Department. I knew her oldest son Michael, he went to school with my son Sean and I remembered when Michael worked at the Hospitality Shop at Brandywin Hospital. Debbie will be missed by her family and many friends. RIP Debbie.

I was another VA employee who enlisted Deb's services when I was planning to retire. She was always so helpful, patient and pleasant. I enjoyed all of our conversations. I am so sorry for all the family and friends now grieving her loss.

I was so sorry to hear about Debbie's passing, and my thoughts are with your family. I think everyone knows how much time she spent over the years helping with the marching band, and I'll always remember and appreciate that.

I relied on her HR knowledge many times.  I loved talking with her about our kids when they were in the band, and then following each other as our children married and we had grandchildren. Weaver family,
So sorry for your loss. Mrs. Weaver always treated me like I was one of her own kids, (which she did with all the band kids). I basically lived at the Weaver house during high school. She was the nicest and sweetest lady. I remember going over after I had Easter with my family and she would have an Easter basket ready for me. The world lost the most caring woman.

Every summer when I was a little boy,  we would dress up in our Sunday best, and my uncle would pack my grandparents, mother, and sister in his old Studebaker for a daylong trip to the Zomolski's in the country.  While the old people gathered in the house and spoke in tongues so us kids wouldn't know what they were talking about,  a little bare-foot girl took us around the barnyard and introduced us to each cow by name.   While we carefully tip-toed around the cow paddies so as not to mess up our shiny city slicker shoes, the bare-foot little girl gleefully sloshed through the barnyard.  God speed Little Debbie.

Debbie and Chip were our neighbors and landlords for 8 years back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.  Couldn’t have asked for two better people to live that close to.  I remember Debbie sitting  in our rocker holding our newborn daughter the day we brought her home.  She was such a good person.  I laugh to myself when I think about the time we had a bird in our house and Chip and me couldn’t catch it.  Debbie came in like a freight train and pushed us both out of the way, and captured the bird in seconds.  Chip, Michael, Jonathan, David, and Alex, I’m so sorry for your loss.  RIP Debbie.

Condolences to Debbie's Family. I remember her as a Super Band Mom. 

Debbie helped me on innumerable occasions with her advice on navigating the many paths that the VA had to offer over the years. I was greatly saddened to hear of her passing so close to her well earned retirement that she had worked so hard for counseling most of the Coatesville VA Staff on matters of their own retirement years among other issues. My Wife and I made a donation to "A Place for All Animal Rescue, Inc." in her Memory. Our Condolences to her entire Family over this tragic and devastating loss. Thank you, Deb, for all of your valuable advice over the years. Rest in Peace. God Bless You.

Dear Weaver family.
