Esteel M. Ratcliff, Jr., 77, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 5, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Elisabeth "Beth" E. Herr Ratcliff with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Esteel M. Ratcliff, Sr. and Eleanor E. Trumbower Ratcliff.
Ess grew up in Parkesburg and was a 1961 graduate of the Octorara High School, Atglen, PA. He proudly served in the US Air Force from 1961 to 1965. He also served as a West Sadsbury Township police officer and he was a life member, past president and fire police officer of Parksburg Fire Company now known as Keystone Valley Fire Department.
Esteel was employed in the maintenance department with 1000 Trails Campgrounds. He also was currently employed in his 11th year at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts as a Food and Beverage Building Supervisor.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four children; Charles A. Leamy and his significant other Stacy Mann of Parkesburg, Esteel M. Ratcliff, III and wife Paula of New Holland, Jeffrey R. Leamy and wife Michelle of Martic Township, Lancaster county and Joseph B. Ratcliff of Leola, 23 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two siblings; Eugene A. Ratcliff and wife Edna of Parkesburg and Eleanor Martin of Hinkletown, PA. He was preceded in death by an infant sister Edna Ratcliff.
Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Faggs Manor Presbyterian Cemetery, 505 Street Rd, Cochranville, PA 19330.

remember this guy back in the day at Parkesburg and Christiana fire co and his time of being with west Sadsbury PD however not much going on there like the booming business around Wal-Mart now very quiet township 40 years ago
