Eugene E. Butcher, 81, of Kennett Square, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary Rebecca Powell Butcher with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Frank Albright and Bertha Butcher Albright.
Eugene was an area resident all his life and a graduate of the former Unionville High School. He served honorably in the US Army. He was employed most of his life as a farm manager for several local horse farms in the Unionville area.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by one son Christopher G. Butcher, one grandchild, Jason M. Butcher, Jr. and one sister Eleanore Jackson of West Grove, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Jason M. Butcher, Sr.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.

Becky and your family, sorry to hear about Gene's passing. Gene was always a kind man I remember when he would be thumbing back in the day my Uncles Buddy or Billy Dreisbach would always give him a ride because he was Unionville people.
