David Wayne Gill, 79, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, July 29th, 2020 under the care of John Hopkins Hospital of Baltimore.
David was the son of the late Ethel (Grant) and Wayne Gill.
David was a 1959 graduate of Oxford High School.
He served four years in the Air Force, obtaining the rank of Sergeant. He then served six years with the Nevada National Guard. David worked at a forklift driver until his retirement.
A private graveside service will be held at Oxford Cemetery at a date yet-to-be-determined.

You married my mom 12-26-1979, (Bevery LaVerne). You took on 2 of her kids, I was one, Rick was the other. You love my mother dearly (1941-2000). You taught me and Rick to water ski, taught us how to shoot a 12 ga. shotgun. You did the best with what you had to work with. I always thought of you as my 'real dad'. After the divorce with my mom, I lost touch, I was raising 6 kids of my own (no excuse), yet you always contacted me, called me, came to see me ...... cause you were my dad. I will always love you. God of heaven and earth, please keep you. I love you Dad.
