Mildred C. Maxwell, 70, of West Lawn, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur E. Nixon, Jr. and Anna McNeil Nixon.
Mildred was an area resident most of her life. She was employed by Pepperidge Farms at their Downingtown location and later at their Denver, PA facility. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Ercildoun, PA.
She is survived by three daughters; Tasha Maxwell-Brooks of West Lawn, PA, Tanesha Maxwell of Coatesville and Natelya Maxwell of West Lawn, six grandchildren and four siblings; Theresa Baynard-Springs of Brookhaven, PA, Arthur E. Nixon, III of Hazleton, PA, Maximillan Xavier (Stephen Nixon) of Delaware and Sadie Nixon of Coatesville. She was preceded in death by one sister Brenda K. Nixon.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Full Gospel Baptist Church, 199 Wallace Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335 followed by interment at the Church of Christ Cemetery in Ercildoun, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the church from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.

So sorry...
So sorry to hear of Millie's passing. I had the privilege of working with her both in Downingtown and Denver until her retirement. She was a hard worker and always had a smile for a friend. I had not seen her for several years, but recently saw her at a luncheon. Still had the same smile and good spirits. Thankfully she's healed.....and in a place of peace and love.
