A beautiful soul, full of love and faith, ascended to heaven, away from us, but closer to God, leaving loneliness and sadness.

So sorry for your loss. Though I didn't know Nancy real well, when I pictured her in my mind, she was smiling. We won't be able to attend the service as we now live in Utah.

My precious Aunt Nancy’s life had immense and eternal value. She had a gift for making people feel loved. I always knew that she cared about me. I saw in her all of the fruit of the spirit: joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. She never got bogged down in bitterness or resentment. Harsh words were not part of her life. She exuded a kind, gentle spirit that people loved and treasured. She has a wonderful legacy that will live on. She taught me the beauty of the fruit of the spirit. If I can be more like her, I will be a far better person. I am praying Isaiah 41:10 over the entire family: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

To the Stoltzfus family,

Nancy was a special and dear friend to me, to our family .    We have fond memories of our many times together.    I appreciated her counsel, her wisdom and her support through the years.    I was privileged to have a long and wonderful visit with her on her patio just before she received the diagnosis .   I shall cherish that afternoon of "catching up"  forever.   I , also, was granted the opportuntity to visit with her in the last several weeks and was able to tell her in person how much her life influenced me and was  able to thank her for the investment she made into my life.   I will never forget her.

Blessings to all of you, Sheryl Smoker & family

What a wonderful and kind person Nancy Stoltzfus was! I especially appreciated her knowledge of vegetable gardening, cooking and food preservation, and her pursuit of the most delicious approach to these lost skills.   Nancy’s corn was legendary in the family — an entire truckload picked at the perfect ripeness on an August morning, shucked and cleaned by family members, and blanched, scraped, packaged and frozen throughout one long hot day, then divided up into everyone’s freezers to bring sunshine to dinners in the fall and winter.  I know all the Stoltzfus family members treasured that corn, and so did the Payer family, when Brian & my sister Jean brought it for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I raved about that corn to Nancy for years and she invited me to come help with the processing for years.  And finally I was able to clear my schedule and help her and Brian and Eric with the corn prep and learn the skills.  So glad I made the time for it!  I also loved how excited Nancy got about the fresh mushrooms that I brought from Kennett Square.  I cherish the Fall 2017 afternoon I visited Nancy and talked about her farm childhood and her world travels.  God speed Nancy, you will bring joy to the heavens.  Love, Marian (Payer) Young

I am sorry to hear about Nancy, she will definitely be missed! I cherish the times we spent together all these past years at the potlucks at her home, and then in Kinzer. She was always smiling, and was so sweet to be around...nothing beat her delicious dishes she made to share with everyone. Her onion flax bread has always, and will remain one of my favorites, and I always think of her when I make it. I loved her creativity and positive outlook on everything. It has been a blessing to have her in my life...her family is in my prayers.
God bless you all,
Stacy

Lynette, my condolences to you and all your family.  I wish I had met my mother.  When you came out her to San Diego last year, your mother armed you with gifts of food and a hand-made pot holder for me.  That was the sweetest thing for someone who didn't even know me.  She seems like such a gentle soul.  May all of you have peace from your warm memories her.

"God will send forth his steadfast love and his faithfulness" (Psalm 57:3). We extend our heartfelt condolences to everyone in the family. Nancy meant a great deal to us and to our children, supporting us in so many ways through the years. She was loving, joyful, adventurous, industrious, and fun, and she enabled others to grow. We will miss her. May God provide comfort in sorrow.

Dear Linette,

I am sad to hear of your mother's passing. It  was wonderful to meet her at Hippocrates so many years ago and to share the experience of health and healing that she so excellently practized for the rest of her life. Tha last time I saw her in Sarasota we enjoyed a picnic at the beach, so it will be easy for me to remember her happy enjoyment of life in Florida. I also remember how wonderful it was to have you both visiting me in France at Perrot. May you also be blessed with happy memories and peace of mind.
