Precious in the sight of the
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints...Don whenever there was a need you always put others first, always lent a hand, opened your home when a friend was down and out, Always were true to freiend even when they wer'nt always true to you....When you came to stay with us during your illness I saw your HUNGER for the word of God,,,,,up every night before bed in your room searching Gods Word for guidance..just another child of God walking the path. You were cantankerous, and rough around the edges, but always loving and faithful....you showed us all how to handle severe physical challenges with Grace, Humor and above all Dignity.......I Will miss our trips to the Ballbark to see the Blue Rocks, Phillies and Barnstormers........AND ALL THOSE YEARS WATCHING THE IRON BOWL together (The War Eagle Sheds a tear Today)...I Love you and am blessed to have you as my brother........Now Go Rest High on That Mountian..Your work here is done..for you are now Safe in The Arms of Jesus........

I was glad to be Donald's pastor for a short time at Latta Memorial Presbyterian Church when I became Pastor there. His passing is a shock. Months ago I picked him up to attend Latta on a particular Sunday. On Facebook he shared many wonderful Christian items; his strong faith was very evident and I will miss his comments. Praise God he is with Him. In Christ, Pastor Dave Salinger
