Christopher T. Simmers, Jr., 28, of Coatesville, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at his home. Born in Coatesville, he was the beloved son of Wendy Martin Corle, wife of Larry, of Coatesville and Christopher Todd Simmers, Sr. of Intercourse.
Chris was a 2006 graduate of Octorara High School.
He is survived, in addition to his parents, by his siblings, Samantha Columbia, wife of Patrick, of Honey Brook, Katie Simmers, fiance of Joe, of Blackwood, N.J., Austin Corle of Coatesville and Nathan Corle of Birdsboro, nieces, nephews, paternal grandparents, Gary Simmers of Coatesville and Ann Clark of Gap, his companion Devon Butler of Coatesville and his special "adopted" daughter, Baylee Butler.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 30th at 11:00AM at the Morgantown Community Church, 4221 Main St., Elverson, PA 19520 with a viewing from 9:30AM until 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to F.R.E.E.

In the short time I have known you, I could tell you were a kind and loving person. I am so glad that I was able to meet you and for the brief time that we spent together. Thank you for all the love and support you gave Devon and Baylee. It will stay with them forever and bring them peace and comfort.

Chris, you were an amazing caring young man, who unfortunately battled demons. They didn't win though because you are in the loving arms of our Lord. It was such a pleasure talking with you. You were always so kind and genuine.
