George Edgar Reeser, 77, of Atglen, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Marlene A. Russell Reeser with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Edgar R. and Bessie A. Murray Reeser.
George was an area resident all his life and a 1957 graduate of the Scott High School in Coatesville. He was employed by the former Lukens Steel Company of Coatesville retiring in 1996 with 41 years of service.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by one son; Christopher Reeser of Parkesburg and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Mark Reeser in 2014.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
