Pauline Trego Roderer (With Updated Information)

Pauline Trego Roderer, 79, of West Chester, died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Hickory House in Honey Brook. Pauline was the wife of Theodore F. Roderer with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Bellwood, Pa. she was the daughter of the late John Elliott and Laura Watters Trego.



She was graduated from the Altoona High School in 1948 and continued her education at Penn State University. Pauline had been a resident of West Chester for 53 years.



She is survived, in addition to her husband, by six children, Patricia, wife of David Bagnall of Gap; Pam, wife of  Dan Olinger of Greenville, SC; Ted Roderer and wife Margaret of West Chester; Tom Roderer and wife Pat of Downingtown; Penny, wife of Steve Palmer of Greenville, SC; and Peggy Jo, widow of John Embree, of East Fallowfield; 23 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one brother James Trego of Utah.



She was predeceased by one grandson.



Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00 am from the Bible Baptist Church, 1237 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.

My thought and prayers go out to the whole family. I've known Mrs. Roderer and the entire family for most of my life. She was a wonderful person and always a positive outlook. Please except my sincere condolences.
