Patricia A. Wellock, 80, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday, April 25 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of Charles Wellock, Sr. with whom she shared 59 and a half years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Helena (Bohmwetch) and Robert Nice.  A resident of Philadelphia for 20 years, Drexel Hill for 40 years, New Germantown for 17 years, she most recently resided in Coatesville for the past two years.  Patricia graduated from St. Rose of Lima School in Philadelphia and Villa Maria Academy of Malvern.

Patricia was employed by Pennsylvania RR, IVB Bank, 1st Fidelity, EDS and Wells Fargo, working as a Key Punch Operator then as a Tape Librarian, retiring 18 years ago.  

Patricia was a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima, St. Charles Borromeo, St. Bernard and most recently at St. Peter Catholic Church in West Brandywine.  

She volunteered in many organizations throughout life, including CYO, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, School Libraries, Ladies Auxiliaries, Westown 6-Day Race and Blain Lions Club. 

Patricia loved spending time with family and friends, camping, knitting, swimming, sewing, volunteering to help the community, assisting with Drexel Hill Players, playing Solitaire, Mahjongg and other computer games; watching all Law & Order, NCIS and CSI series and could often solve who did it before the end of the show.  She enjoyed attending The Philly Pops concerts, listening to music and playing the piano.  

Patricia loved all kinds of animals, great and small and enjoyed many pets throughout her life.       

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, Charles E. Wellock, Sr., and children: Charlie Wellock, husband of Marian, Lisa Wellock, Patty Reaney, wife of Joe, and Rob Wellock; seven grandchildren, Lauren (George), Kristin (Scott), Shannon (Geoff), Ryan (Nika), Joe (Kristen), Mary and Robbie and seven great grandchildren, Juliette, Nathaniel, Maddy, Matthew, Taylor, Harlo and George.

The Memorial Mass will be held Friday, May 1st at 11 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, PA with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.

Thank you to Main Line Hospice, especially Sharon, Peg, Dr. Michael Soojian and staff, and Dr. George Martin and staff for the great care they provided.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.

There are no words that will heal your heart but your Mom will live there until you meet with her again in paradise.  May God bless my friend Lisa, Mr. Wellock and the entire Wellock family.  Wishing you all peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.  She fought hard to stay with all of you here.  I 'll always remember how funny and full of life she was.  She'll continue to watch over everyone from afar.

Charlie and family,

Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved wife, Pat;  and family's mom and grandmother.  It's so hard to loose those you love so dearly.  She was a very special lady and will

be remembered for all the community service her and Charlie did in Perry County, especially the Blain Lions Club.  She will be greatly missed.
