Gail Jean Stoltzfus, 52, of East Lampeter Twp., passed away at her home on Friday, October 31, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Mervin W. "Butch" Taylor, with whom she shared 34 years together. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Abner Stoltzfus of Cochranville, PA and Hilda McCarter Groff of New Providence, PA.
Gail was an area resident all her life and a 1980 graduate of the Octorara High School. She was employed by Extended Family Care of Lancaster. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd of Lancaster.
She is survived, in addition to her parents and husband, by one daughter Meshelle Pinzon, wife of Gerson Morales Pinzon of Elizabethtown, two granddaughters Karrah and Kendrah, three stepchildren; Richard Taylor and wife Jody of East Fallowfield, Todd Taylor and wife Cristen of Lancaster and Eric Taylor and wife Dana of Parkesburg, 11 step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and four siblings; Debra Wertz of Christiana, PA, Carol McGhee of Quarryville, Albert Stoltzfus of Quarryville and Dale Stoltzfus of Coatesville.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Wilde Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
