My heartfelt sympathies in your time of mourning. I only knew Sam briefly, but his infectious smile shall remain. I was proud to be his mentor at the Sadsburyville Fire Company. Sam served with pride and true determination towards assisting those in need. I have no doubt he would have been a good firefighter. Sincerely, Erik.

I just wanted you to know how fond we were of you and Don when we lived there. We still have some of Don's work (the scary cat for Halloween). It really meant a lot when I saw your face.

When I think of Sammy, the first thing that comes to mind is his smile. His kindness and goodwill would shine like a beacon from that smile, and in his eyes was a glint of mischievousness that I remember so well. My step dad, Jack, was a surrogate father to Sammy and he fit into our crazy family perfectly. Though not related by blood, in my heart, Sammy was my brother - bound by history, friendship and love. Though I sometimes tortured him the way only a little sister can, he was always sweet and patient with me...even when I was a brat. I'll never forget his OP shorts, Lacrosse gear or eyebrow scar - which he made cool before Luke Perry or Vanilla Ice ever came on the scene. :)

Cathy and Christopher Jack...I'm so very sorry that the man you both love, and who loved you right back, is gone. I'm heartbroken that Sammy, who was a good man, has left this world so soon. I'll never forget how happy he was when he found you, Cathy. And how over-the-moon he was when Christopher Jack was born. It's probably of little comfort at this time, but as long as those of us who love Sammy remain, a small part of him will also remain, tucked into our hearts.
I, for one, will proudly carry Sammy's memory with me, thankful that I was blessed enough to have known him. Love you, Sammy - Godspeed.

Dana,
Thank you for the kind words. I thought his scar and smile was amazing also. I just wanted you to know he loved you dearly, he always told me your were his sister and Jack & Joanne were his 2nd parents. He was so worried about you and your family when the last storm hit that you would have no power and to come and stay with us,I asked him how you would they get here and he said as typical Sam "If I have to I will go them". Love you and your family as Sam did.

Sue, Cathy, Sam, Sheila and Morelli family,

So very sorry for your loss of a radiant son, husband, dad and friend.. so very thankful and blessed for the many memories of Sam, Jr. from his days at Ridley High, his big heart, his dapper style, and always the "talks in the kitchen" about Sam's hopes and dreams. Feels like yesterday when his radiant face lit up on the Phillies scoreboard as he proposed to his beautiful bride, Cathy, and oh how Cathy loved him! Their special love and marriage was a gift to their family and community. And blessed were Cathy and Sam to bear a son Christopher who will continue to leave an echo of laughing times and bright and sunny days as Chris survives the storm! It has broken many hearts to lose Sam yet we won't keep you Sam as we know you are busy with the Duke and Duchess preparing a place for the family when our day comes to travel alone! We will await word on how you are doing so please led the way to help get to the eternal kingdom to re-unite with you...I can't wait for you to greet us with your contagious smile and say, "Welcome Home".

OXOXOXOXO.....
Marie Morelli
