Parke W. Bradford, 73, of Kinzers, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 15, 2014. He was the beloved widower of the late Nancy V. Bradford who passed away on January 25, 2014 after sharing 26 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, Parke was the son of the late Mary and Parke L. Bradford.
He was a 1958 graduate of the Coatesville High School. Parke was employed by the former Lukens Steel of Coatesville where he worked as a Shop Foreman for 44 years before retiring 11 years ago.
Parke was a member of the Bart Mennonite Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, family gatherings and his dog Molly.
He is survived by his children: Judy Huff, wife of Roy, of North Carolina, June Bradford of Gap, Garry Bradford, husband of Phylis, of Kinzers, Crystal Taylor of Honey Brook, and Rev. Scott Bradford, husband of Julie, of Africa; stepchildren, Robert Holland, husband of Sheila, of Gap, Kenneth Holland of Paradise, Kathleen Edwards, wife of Dale, of Gap, Maryann Cianci of Gap; his sister, Mary Bradford; 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 22 great, great grandchildren.
Parke was predeceased by his brother Ricky Bradford.
The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, March 21 at 11 AM at the Bart Mennonite Church, 742 Vintage Rd, Christiana, PA 17509 followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. The viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.
