Condolences

Fantini Family,

Saying I am sorry seems so empty compaired to your loss. I have such wonderful memories of Mr. Fantini. The way he treated Mrs. Fantini and the kids. He always seemed to be happy and full of life. I remember his hugs and the love you knew he had for all of us kids at church.
Thank you for sharing him with us. He will be missed.
Love and prayers to you all,
Heidi Huber Mack

I was so saddened to hear the news that a such great man has been taken from among us. No doubt that words can do little to ease the grief that "Mr. Fan's" family must be feeling right now, but without a doubt your loss is shared by many, many others whose lives were touched and influenced by Nick Fantini.

Although many years and miles have come between our time together, a significant portion of who I am today: my values, experiences and memories, were gifts given freely and passionately by this man. Even as a youth, I marveled at how much Mr. Fantini gave of himself as scoutmaster, parishioner and family member. Mr. Fan often used examples of his own youth to encourage other young men to rise above their current situation and become model citizens and contributors to society – just like he did.

Today, when I think of the many lives he touched over the years and the lessons passed down, it is clear that his impact on this world has not ended with his passing – it will be carried on through countless others who had the honor of having their character forged in his presence.

My regret is that I never took the time to tell him all this myself as the years have brought me awareness. So I can only hope it will be some consolation to his family.

If the measure of a man is the legacy and influence he leaves on others, then Nick Fantini was a giant. He will be sorely missed.
