Dora Snyder

Dora Snyder, 98, of Havertown, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the Hickory House of Honey Brook. She was the widow of the late Alva M. Snyder.

She was born in Dover, DE. After her retirement, Dora was a caretaker for those who were confined to their homes. She was a member of the Grace Chapel in Havertown.

She is survived by five children: Jane Taylor, Howard Snyder, Flora Murtaugh, Blanche Taylor, and Carl Snyder; a half-sister, Mary Catherine Schneigle; 11 grandchildren, 15 great, grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 11 AM at the Pequea Baptist Church, 6062 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, PA 17527, followed by interment in the Glenwood Memorial Cemetery in Broomall. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held at the Church from 10 AM until the time of the service.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.
