a memory of Noah
I will always have a special memory of Noah since he officiated at our wedding almost 28 years ago. Brenda and I will always be grateful for the time he spent with us and for his wise counsel. He helped us to begin our marraige on a strong foundation. If I remember correctly, the last time I spoke with Noah was almost 2 years ago at the funeral service for my uncle, Aaron Kauffman. It so happened that the service took place on our wedding anniversary. I asked Noah if he remembered what he was doing 26 years ago on that day. Obviously I did not expect that he would remember, but I assured him that I most certainly did remember where he was on that day. I reminded him that he was standing in this church (Millwood) listening to two young people say "I do".
God's blessings to you, Alta, and to all the Hershey family

My Deepest Sympathy To The Hershey Family
My late husband Herb and his family lived next door to the church in Parkesburg where I still live. Herb always spoke so highly of Noah and I had met him a few times the last time when he came to Herb's funeral in May. i know this is a difficult time for you Mrs Hershey but I know you find comfort in knowing Noah is now in Heaven and you will see hime again. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Alta and family,
We have good memories of Noah's visits to Parkesburg Mennonite School and also of learning to know his children there and at LMS (Janet). We know that your grief must be mixed with the joy of having had a loving and faithful father at the head of yourfamily. We pray that you will know God's comfort and peace as you share memories with each other and think of your father in the presence of the One he served so faithfully.

Prayers to the Hershey Family
Dear Alda and family,
It was so sad to have heard of Noah's passing. I had been thinking of the fond memories as a child where I spent many times at the farm. I know times are sad right now but he is in a better place.
I would like to get in touch with Martha if possible. My address is:

God be with you 'til you meet again.
Dear Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you today as you lay to rest your husband, father, grandfather and great-father. Noah was a faithful servant of the Lord and a Godly example and teacher to many of us.
Marilyn and I have fond memories of his pastoral ministry at Parkesburg and in the Millwood district while we as a young family attended the church. He was a great friend and supporter also of our fathers (fellow bishops)as well as to my (Merv's) mother during her final years. The last memory we have is of him conducting the committal service for Evelyn R Leaman at Hershey Mennonite Church and visiting personally with him afterward.
May God extend His special grace to each of you during this time of loss and help you follow in his footsteps to your heavenly home with him and our savior, Jesus Christ.

What a wonderful person! This gentleman made a positive impression on my life and that of others during our years of attendance at the Mennonite Church Bible School in P'burg. (Including later years my children attended Summer Bible School). Those days are lasting impressions of my christian base and times I will always cherish. Thank you, "Rev. Hershey".
Prayers to Jr., Henry, Martha and all the family.
