Norman F. Walton, Jr., 73, of West Bradford, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 12, 2009 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Kay E. Moore Walton with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Born in Parkesburg, he was the son of the late Norman F. Sr. and Kathryn Wolfe Walton. An area resident his whole life, he was employed by the National Rolling Mills of Malvern in shipping and receiving retiring in 1993 with 33 years of service. Norman was a member of the Great Hope Baptist Church in Elverson and the National Steel Workers Assoc.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by five children; Rev. Dennis Walton and wife Cheryl of Groton, VT., Brenda Walton of Collegeville, N. Franklin Walton, III and wife Bunny of West Bradford, Robert Walton and wife Elizabeth of Carlisle and Sharon Walton of Coatesville, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three siblings; Betty Thompson of Pocopson, Donald Walton of East Fallowfield and Barry Walton of Caln. He was preceded in death by a sister Jacqueline Henderson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, followed by interment at Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10am to the time of the service. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Great Hope Baptist Church, 1080 N. Manor Road Honey Brook, PA 19344.

Dear Aunt Kay and family,
We are so very sad of Uncle Jerry leaving us here on earth, but we know that he is in heaven and we will meet up with him one day.
