Deb was a wonderful assistant and secretary who reached well beyond her duties to help others and to be a friend. She was a gentle soul who was loved and appreciated by all of us who were lucky enough to receive her warmth and kindness. I will miss Deb very much.

My condolences to Deb's family. The kindness, lightness and warmth Deb brought into our lives will be be missed. You could always count on her smile and easy laugh. I was lucky to have her as a friend.

Deb was one of the first people I met when starting at the CCIU.
Her kindness, patience (she answered endless questions for me), positive spirit and genuine regard for those she worked with was evident each day. I will miss Deb's light in our office and will keep her, and her family in my prayers.

Deb was such a wonderful, kind and caring person. She always went above and beyond what was required of her at work. I will never forget our "disappearing schedule issues" and how she always brightened my day when I had the pleasure of speaking or seeing her in the office. She will be greatly missed at the CCIU. Her family members are in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss you Deb.

Deb was a warm, thoughtful, and kind woman. I am lucky to have had the chance to get to know her while working with her at the CCIU. She has surely left her mark on many hearts in our department. I wanted to take time to extend my sincere condolences to her friends and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

First of all my thoughts and prayers go out to not only Deb's family, but to her many friends. We are all mourning her loss. I have worked with Deb for over 10 years and have always enjoyed her pleasant nature and her radiating smile. She may have left this earth but her spirit and memories will remain in my heart forever! I love you Deb!!!

I am deeply saddened to learn of the tragic loss of one of the sweetest and most thoughtful people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. There is no doubt that Deb will be sorely missed by her family, friends and co-workers.

I am praying for Deb's family and our IU family. Deb was very much loved and respected by all her co-workers. She was a friend to all of us in times of need. She had a lovely voice and enjoyed singing in the "ESC Singers" for two years. She often spoke of her sisters and loved the food they made, fruit they brought her and trips they took together. She often mentioned Trav and the girls and the delightful time she would have with playing school and how she would have to be the student after her granddaughter voted herself as teacher. I will miss our chats and I will miss her love and respect that I enjoyed for the last ten years.God bless us all.

Deb O. When I lost a friend I loved, cared about and worked with it seems that time stands still. What moves through me is silence, a quiet sadness. A longing for one more day, one more word. I may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we said good-bye, but little by little, I will remember not just that you died, but that you lived. That your life gave me memories too beautiful to forget. I will see you again some day, in a heavenly place where there is no parting. I will truly miss you!

Deb has been my long time friend and confidante. I will miss her terribly and send all my prayers and best wishes to her family.

Deb was such a bright and willing worker and friendly face. She loved to share stories of her family and cared so much for our students. You have many arms of support from the IU family during this most difficult time. She will be missed.

Deb was an amazingly kind woman and will be greatly missed by her IU family. She had a magical way of making everyone around her feel welcome. Her warm smile and gentle nature always put a smile on my face. My thoughts and prayers will be lifted up for her family.

Deb's radiant smile and caring nature was a given on good days and bad days. She served the Speech staff with such professionalism and devotion. She will be missed every day. I will remember her in my prayers.

Debbie and I met in High school and attended Vo-Tech together for Cosmetology. We had fun times together! What I remember the most is how much she loved Robin back then! Years flew by and then one Sunday we were visiting a church where my sister-in-law attends and heard a very familiar voice calling my name! We caught up with each other about our lives where we had been and where we ended up, mostly about our families. I am glad we bumped into each other that day because even though you left too soon I know where you are, "No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor entered into our mind what God has prepared for those who Love Him." My sympathies go out to all of your families that you will keep sweet memories in your hearts and that God would give you Comfort, Strength and Peace.

I am so sorry your family's loss. Deb was such a kind person and always made our jobs a little easier. She was so helpful in every way. She will be missed.
