Ruby E. Seese, 92, of Lincoln University, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Twin Pines Health Care Center, West Grove, PA. She was the widow of the late James Carlton Seese, Sr., who died in 1980. Born in Hillsville, VA, she was the daughter of the late John W. Reece and Lucy Matilda Kemp Reece.
Ruby was a County resident most of her life. She was a member of the New London Baptist Church of Kelton, PA. She is best remembered by her family as a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by six children; May E. Barlow of Little Britain, PA, Daniel L. Seese, Sr. of Coatesville, PA, Gladys N. Salada of Honey Brook, PA, Ruth E. Dickens and husband Joseph, Sr. of West Grove, PA, Barry L. Seese and wife Donna of Cochranville, PA and Kathy G. Glenn and husband David, Sr. of Lincoln University, PA, 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons; James C. Seese, Jr., Kenneth W. Seese, Sr. and Robert D. Seese.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Union Hill Cemetery in Kennett Square. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
