Words can never express how much Tempie will be missed. We go way back to our church days at Pequea Baptist where I met Tempie, Jeannie and Dave (when we were ALOT younger). Through them I was able to meet the whole Armstrong family who I grew to love as if they were my own family. I was blessed enough to even work at the same place that we could keep in contact with one another. I keep reflecting on the many good times and laughs we've had from church days until now and I will always remember them. To Jeannie, Dave, Paul, Patty and the rest of the armstrong family, I wish to convey my deepest sympathy. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Here is a beautiful poem I found that says it all: If tears could build a stairway, and thoughts a memory lane. I'd walk right up to heaven, and bring you home again. No Farewell words were spoken, No time to say good-bye. You were gone before We knew it, And only God knows why.
My heart's still active in sadness, And secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you, No one can ever know. But now I know you want us, To mourn for you no more. To remember all the happy times, Life still has much in store. Since you'll never be forgotten, I pledge to you today.
A hallowed place within my heart, Is where you'll always stay. God knows why with chilling touch, Death gathers those we love so much. And what now seems so strange and dim, Will all be clear when we meet Him. (Unknown)
Tempie - I miss you, love you as a sister and friend....I will see you again some day, on that you can depend.

I have had the great honor of knowing Tempie through work. Out of my 30 years at the VA, Tempie was by far one of the few who totally went above and beyond of what was expected. I would always call her for information, direction, etc., and if she didn't know the answer she would find out and get back to you. We would often talk about Atlantic City and her genuine and unique laugh would only have you joining in. And of course if she didn't feel well you would never know it. Everytime you saw her, she always had that beautiful smile. I feel very blessed to have known her and will truly miss her.

My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. I will continue to keep Tempie and everyone in my prayers.
