William K. "Mouse" Johnson, 48, of Downingtown, passed away at his home on Friday, March 7, 2014. Born in Coatesville, he was the beloved son of Rebecca Johnson Smith of Downingtown and the late Larry E. Smith, Sr.
 
An area resident all his life, William was a 1983 graduate of the Downingtown High School. He was employed as an Environmental Specialist. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he enjoyed fishing.
 
He is survived, in addition to his mother, by his companion of 30 years Diane Massimi, three siblings; Larry E. Smith, Jr and wife Terrese Allen-Smith of Coatesville, Nichole C., wife of Luther McCree of E. Norriton, PA, Marcus D. Smiith of Coatesville and nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at Church of Christ Cemetery in Ercildoun, PA. Viewing from 9 to 11am.

My prayers are with the family., loved ones and friends. I knew Mouse from Chelsey's in Downingtown.....he was always so polite and had something nice to say - ALWAYS. And what a sense of humor he had - he always kept us smiling and laughing.....I was shocked when Roy gave me the news yesterday, about his passing. Mouse you will be missed - may you rest in peace.

Rebecca and Family

Sending my sincerest condolences on the loss of your dear son. I know you all have been saddened deeply with his long illness and now his passing. He's in Gods hands now and forever. May the kindness and condolences help you with this healing recovery.

He was too young and suffered too long so be glad he's at rest even though it's terribly difficult to lose a son, brother, cousins, friend etc. may he rest in peace.

I loved working with you...kept me laughing all the time! So many great memories were made on the job site. You were the best story teller too haha i loved hearing the same stories over and over again! It wont be the same without you around but ill always remember and cherish the time we had spent together, on site or not! Rest easy man...its hard to day goodbye but i know you are watching us from above yelling at me to get off the phone. My heart goes out to his family Diane and everyone else like myself who was fortunate enough to have known Mouse!
