Thomas Evan Ferguson, 43, of Modena, died suddenly on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Maurice Watson Ferguson, Jr. and Rebecca JoAnn Phillips Ferguson Thompson and step son of the late Ralph Thompson.


A resident of Modena for 35 years, Tom attended the Coatesville Area Schools and later the Delaware Community College. He was employed by National Foam of West Chester.


He is survived by his siblings; Jack Ferguson, (deceased), Linda, wife of Robert Armentrout of Morgantown, Larry Ferguson of Parkesburg, Garry Ferguson of Quarryville, Bob Ferguson of Cochranville and Jason and Keith Thompson both of Modena.


Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at East Brandywine Baptist Cemetery, Downingtown, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10:00 am to the time of the service.

Larry and family,
I am saddened to hear of your loss.Tom and I used to talk when he was over at your house.I remember talking to him about college.He was such a sweetheart.It truly breaks my heart.Mike and my prayers and love go out to you and your family.We miss having you as a neighbor.We've been down here in Florida for over 5 years already.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tom's family at this very sad time. We worked together @ Handi-Crafters some years ago, and also live in Modena. God had a special job for Tom do for him at this time.
Tom will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

I did not know Tom very well, although when I did see him he always had a friendly smile/ hello! Modena needs more people like him in it thats for sure an he will be missed!

To all of Tom's brother's and sister Butch and I are so sorry we missed everything but we didn't know until the 15th or you all know we would have been there. Butch and I thought of Tom as family to us. We talked to Tom a couple times a week and we are going to miss him very much. Tom had such a good heart we don't understand how somebody could of been so cold hearted. We will try to keep in touch with you all and see how the family is doing.
