Patricia G. Montgomery, 76, of Gumtree, passed away on Thursday, August 30 at the LifeCare Hospital in West Chester.  She was the widow of the late Jay D. Montgomery, who passed away in 1988.    

 
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late George M. and Muriel (Saunders) Gillen.    
 
An area resident her entire life, she was a member, Board Member and Trustee at Friendship U.M. Church; Patricia served as secretary for the H.T.P.C. and the H.T. Board of Supervisors.
 
She was employed for 20 years at Hershey Motors of Parkesburg as a notary.  
 
Patricia is survived by her two children: Trev Ann Fagan, wife of Joseph Guldan, of Coatesville, and Jay S. Montgomery, husband of Eileen, of Gumtree; and a niece, Holly Kirk, wife of Donn, of Creme, Pa., whom Patricia and her husband raised; and grandchildren, Johanna, Josiah and Jonas Guldan, Dylan Montgomery, Dustin Herr, Patrick Vukovic and Erin and Chelsea Kirk; and siblings, George Gillen of Tenn., John "Socker" Gillen of Coatesville and Linda O'Gata of Chicago.
 
The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 5th at 6 PM at the Friendship U.M. Church, 123 East Friendship Church Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320.  The visitation will be held at the Church from 5 until 6 PM.  
 
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.  
 
The family would like to thank the caregivers from both the Brandywine and LifeCare Hospitals.
 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Friendship U.M. Church at the above address.

Sharing the love and caring of both Pat and JD has been the center of my
life for many years and will continue to strengthen me daily. She was a
wonderful person to sit and talk with and I will miss those moments, but

So sorry to hear of the loss of Pat. She was my loving aunt (Charlotte Riehl). John (Sissy's son) remembers Pat from when he was a child. We will keep you all in our prayers.
