Zachary John Everett Stasny, 26, of Thorndale, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 12, 2011.
He was the beloved son of John B. and Susan M. Stasny of Downingtown. He was a loving father to his son, Collin Matthew.
Zachary attended Coatesville Area Senior High and attained his GED and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2007 from which he received an honorable medical discharge.
He was currently employed by Scrap Metal Services in Coatesville.
Zachary played ice hockey during his youth. He loved the beach and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents and son, he is survived by his brothers, Stephen R. Kitchen, husband of Chrissy, of Coatesville, Christopher M. Kitchen, husband of Anna, of Coatesville, and Jabe T. Stasny of West Chester; four nephews, Stephen R. Kitchen, Jr., Nathan D. Kitchen, Liam C. Kitchen, Zane A. Kitchen, all of Coatesville; his paternal grandparents, John T. and Emily Stasny of Hershey; maternal grandfather, Clarence E. Martin of Downingtown and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Joan M. Sheehan of Downingtown.
Family and friends are invited to the Memorial Service on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa with the visitation from 6 p.m. until the time of the service.
