Mary Louise Pierce, 70, of Toughkenamon, Pa deceased on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Christiana Hospital, Wilmington, De  a lengthy battle with congestive heart failure.

 
Mary was born on July 21, 1942 to the late Sherman and Ola B. Greer of Lancing, NC.  In 1960 she married Ray D. Pierce of Creston, NC.  They recently celebrated 52 years of marriage.  
 
She is survived by her husband, Ray, and their three children.  Dan R. Pierce and his wife Lee Anne, of Nottingham, PA, Mary Lesia Moulder and her husband Thomas, of Carney’s Point, NJ and  Sonja L. Donovan and her husband Donald of Lincoln University, PA and two grandchildren, Nicholas A. Crognale and Breanna M. Crognale.
 
She is also survived by three siblings, Alma J. Brown of Elkton, MD , Sue Serber of NC and  Bruce Greer of Lancing, NC.  
 
She was very close to her brother-in-law Will Pierce and his wife Anne of Chesterville, MD as well as her sister-in-law, Mary Lee Osborne of Creston, NC.
 
She retired from Lau Electronics in 2009. Since then has enjoyed her family, friends, cooking and reading.
 
As per her wishes the family will remember her in private ceremony.
