Nelda T. Wright, 82, of Honey Brook, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Hickory House Nursing Home.



She was the wife of Francis M. Wright with whom she would have celebrated 62 years of marriage on January 15.



Born in Somersworth, NH, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Angelina Bourgeios Ouellette. Nelda lived in Florida for 22 years and had previously lived in Audubon.



She enjoyed golfing, bowling, card games and bingo.  She was an award winning Avon Representative.  She was a "Class B" ladies golf Champion and had two holes in one.   



She is survived, in addition to her husband, by eight children: Frank M. Wright of West Grove, Michael D. Wright of Warminister, Charles F. Wright and wife Melody of S. Grafton, Mass., Marguerite A, wife of Gary Lee of Avondale, Donald J. Wright and wife Vera of Plymouth Meeting, Suzanne M., wife of Jack Barr of Drexel Hill, Ellen T. Walls of Buckner, MO and Michele W., wife of David Needham of Valley Township, daughter-in-law Janet Wright of E. Hanover, NJ, 16 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Jeffrey E. Walls and two sisters, Ida Caplatte and Irene Heon.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. from St. Peter Parish, 2835 Manor Rd., West Brandywine, PA 19320, where she was a parishioner, followed by interment at St. Malachi Cemetery, Cochraniville, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 am.



In lieu of flowers, donations in Nelda's memory, may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
