Clifton Allen Jackson, 53, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital of Hagerstown.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Jacqueline A. White Hallager of Wagontown, Pa. and the late Willie Jackson. He was a 1976 graduate of the Octorara High School. He proudly served in the US Army from 1976 to 1985. He was employed most of his life as a Truck Driver.
He is survived, in addition to his mother, by his son, Miles A. Jackson of Hagerstown and three stepchildren; two grandchildren and two brothers, Anthony Jackson of Parkesburg and Jack Jackson of Downingtown.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 4 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Zion AME Church of Atglen. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held from 9 until 11 a.m. at the Church.
The interment will be held on Tuesday, September 7th at 11:30 a.m. at the Indiantown Gap VA National Cemetery of Annville.
