Nancy E. Bickert

Nancy E. Bickert, 75, of Atglen, PA, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 28, 2024.  She was the wife of the late William F. Bickert Jr.  Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar S. Brown Sr. and the late Dorothy Stackhouse.

Nancy was a Chester County resident all her life. She attended the Great Valley High School in Malvern. She then married her sweetheart whom she would have been married 57 years come October. She enjoyed working for Threaded Screws in Thorndale but her most loved job was as a stay-at-home mom for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nancy was a member of the Westwood Fire Company, Wagontown Fire Company, and Sadsburyville Fire Company where she enjoyed spending her time playing Bingo. You could also find Nancy vacationing with her family in Mrytle Beach SC or enjoying her time on a Cruise ship.

She is survived by her children, William F. (Patricia) Bickert III of Honey Brook, PA, Tracy L. (Robert) Trego of West Chester, PA, and Dawn M. (Patrick) Fitzgerald of Atglen, seven grandchildren and one proceed by death, seven great-grandchildren, and siblings, Walter (Lil) Brown, Oscar Brown Jr (Sandy), Michael Brown (Husband Mike), and Bonnie (Ronald) Snyder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews which she loved, proceeded in death by one.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be a Celebration of Life to be determined at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wilde Funeral Home in Nancy's name.
