Dorothy B. Warmijak
Dorothy B. Warmijak, 73, of Honey Brook passed away at Hershey Medical Center on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Earl Walton and Grace (Edwards) Walton. She was the beloved wife of John D. Warmijak with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.
Dorothy attended Coatesville Area School District and went on to serve as a Bus Aid for Kraph’s.
She was a member of Meadville Mennonite Church.
She enjoyed vacations to Ocean City Maryland, the mountains, and time spent with family. She was an avid shopper who frequented Walmart and Kohls. She was an excellent cook, and was renowned for her chicken dumplings and potato salad, which was always a party favorite. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life.
She is survived in addition to her husband by three children; Michelle Caudill and husband Herb of Honey Brook, John Warmijak III and wife Monica of Parkesburg, and Lilly Warmijak of Honey Brook, four grandchildren; Corey Caudill and wife Kristina, Codie Caudill and spouse Alex, Jonathan Warmijak, and Jordan Warmijak, four great-grandchildren; Maci Warmijak, Brysen Caudill, Grayson Caudill, and Harrison Caudill, four siblings; Herb Walton and wife Ellen of New Holland, Rob Walton and wife Brenda of Coatesville, Ralph Walton and wife Brenda of Martindale, Leon Walton of Honey Brook, and Anna Clark (Walton) of Gap, PA.
She is preceded in death by 15 siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period taking place from 10 AM until the start of the service. Interment will directly follow at Meadville Cemetery of Gap.
An additional visitation period will be offered from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365.
