Charles F. "Chuck" McAdams, 92, of New Holland, PA passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 surrounded by members of his family. He was the husband of Helen Louise "Honey Lou" Gilbaugh McAdams for 72 years. Born in Pomeroy, PA he was the son of the late Oliver D. and Grace Warren McAdams.
Chuck graduated from Scott High School in Coatesville, PA and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a supervisor at E.I. Dupont in Wilmington, DE, retiring in 1985. He was a long-time member of Coatesville Bible Fellowship (formerly The Presbyterian Church of Coatesville) where he served as an Elder and Deacon during his years at the church. He was also active in the choir. He served as a Cub Scout leader in Unionville, PA. At one time he was the President of the Indian Hannah Hunt Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Margaret Beatty of Gap, PA; Steven McAdams (Karleen) of East Fallowfield, PA; James McAdams (Robin) of Greenville, SC, and Carl McAdams (Carol) of Townville, PA. Chuck was predeceased by his son John McAdams (Nancy) of Aston, PA. Chuck had 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 20th, at 11 AM at Garden Spot Village Chapel, New Holland, with a visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service.

Condolence/Chuck McAdams
Mr. McAdams was the father of one of my best friends, his son Steve. Although most of my contact was with Steve, I always appreciated the friendly, stable demeanor of his father. It is funny the things you remember, When Steve turned 10, Mr. McAdams took Steve and several of his friends bowling for Steve's b-day party. On the way home we stopped at Kellys for burger and fries. Although Mrs. McAdams tended to be more of the Evangelist, Mr. McAdams was always the positive male example, who took an interest in the things I was doing. We stayed in touch pretty much through college as I was Best Man in Steve's wedding and he was Best Man in my wedding. After this time our visits became fewer and far between. Then we started to see each other years later at the Edward Jones seminars at Garden Spot Village. It was so nice to sit down and talk with an old friend. He is missed, but I know he is much better off. I know I am better because of the positive influence of Biblical manhood that Chuck McAdams was.
