Nancy Kay Dean
Nancy Kay Dean of Coatesville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 at the age of 63.
Born September 27th, 1955, she was the beloved daughter of the late John H Dean Sr and Bettie A (McWilliams) Dean at Union Hospital of Cecil County in Elkton, MD.
Nancy graduated from Coatesville Area High School in 1973. She worked for Lukens Steel Company before retiring from CTDI in 2018.
Adored for her warm and loving heart, Nancy took great pride in coming from a large, close-knit family. She enjoyed spending her summer vacation with family at the beach, playing bingo with friends, and shopping for anything Disney.
She leaves behind her family who will miss her dearly, including sister Patricia Florian of Coatesville; niece Jennifer Rutledge (husband Dwane and children Jenna, Anna, Jack, Paige) of Parkesburg; niece Brianne Miranda (husband William "Paso" and children Olivia, Natalie, Sophia, Zander) of Pomeroy; and nephew Robert Florian Jr (wife Valoree and children Nicholas, Jared, Anthony, Madilyn) of Coatesville; all of whom she loved very much.
In addition, she is survived by brothers, John Dean Jr (children John III, Deanna, Timothy, Josh, Whitney); Michael Dean (wife Cecilia and children Michele, Erica); Jeffrey Dean Sr (wife Deborah and children Jeffrey Jr, Hunter); and sister Carole Ammon (husband Lewis and children Amy, Jayme, Julie, Samantha, Kadie); and many great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, J Vernon McWilliams and Amy (Wagner) McWilliams of Wagontown and paternal grandparents, Harry R Dean and Freda (Jones) Dean of North East, MD.
The family would like to especially thank the staff at Hickory House in Honey Brook for their professional care and kindness shown to Nancy and the family.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 16th, 2019 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, with a viewing from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg.
