Edna E. Johnson

Edna E. Johnson, 91, of Coatesville, died on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the widow of the late Wilson "Mike" Johnson, who died in 2015. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Carpenter and Ella Mae Bernard Lawrence. 

A lifelong area resident, she was employed by the Coatesville School District in the cafeteria retiring in 1972.

 She is survived by three children, Larry W. Johnson and wife Joan of West Chester, Danny R. Johnson of Chester Springs and Carol L. Wade and husband Ron of Coatesville, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and one sister Hazel Probst of Coatesville who recently celebrated her 99th birthday. She was preceded in death by 11 siblings; Edith Wolfe, Agnes Habecker, Alice Seace, Ruth Ella Compton, Naomi Hamm, Wilmer Charles, Thomas, Raymond, Louis and Earl Lawrence.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11am at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10 to 11am.
