Cynthia Jane Stackhouse, 78, of Cochranville, passed away on Friday, Sept. 11th at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the widow of the late John E. Stackhouse, Jr. who died in 2002. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Ruth Vance Hayes.
Cynthia was an area resident most of her life. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted homemaker.

She is survived by three children; David Paul Stackhouse of Tampa, FL, Deborah J. Moyer (Andrew) of Butler, PA and Karen E. Gentile (John) of Lititz, PA and four grandchildren; Denver Moyer of State College, PA and Vienna, Eden and Calvary Moyer all of Butler, PA. She was preceded in death by one brother Bartram Hayes.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at Faggs Manor Presbyterian Cemetery, Cochranville, PA. Viewing from 10 to 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St. Philadelphia, PA 19103 or Lamancha Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 656, Unionville, PA 19375.
