I am so sorry to learn of the passing of my Uncle Maurice.  He was such  a precious man.  He had such a positive influence on my life growing up.  He was always such a gentle person.  He will be greatly missed.  Aunt Eleanor, I wish I could be with you during this time, but I have some health issues, including recent surgery, that keep me from being with you and your family.  But you know I love you dearly and you will all be in my thoughts and prayers!!

I never met his man who was father and friend to so many. I only know him through one of his foster children. The love Maurice and his wife showed her and 150 other children is clear in everything my friend does. She is an inspiration to me personally, and so her foster parents are as well. To Maurice's family, I wish you peace in finding ways to remember him and continue his legacy and in recognizing your blessings with this incredible man. God bless all of you.
