Mildred M. Foster Gill

Mildred M. Foster Gill, 96, of West Bradford Twp., died on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Harrison Senior Living in Christiana, PA. She was the widow of the late Robert W. Gill and her first husband the late Leon J. Foster. Born in West Grove, she was the daughter of Samuel and Erma Issac Bryan. Mildred was a 1934 graduate of West Grove H.S. She was employed by the Lukens Steel Co. retiring in 1981. 
Mildred was a former member of the Central Presbyterian Church of Downingtown where she had volunteered with the Central Working Guild and Ruth's Circle. Currently, she was attending Grace Covenant Church of Exton. She was also a member of the Lukens Veterans Guild, the Avon Grove Senior Citizens and the AARP. She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting and traveling and she was an avid bowler and Phillies fan.
 
She is survived, by two children; Roger Foster and wife Alice of Coatesville, Judy, wife of Edward Elvin of Mortonville, daughter-in-law Mary Foster of Ronks, nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, one sister; Ruth Coccoilone of West Grove and one step daughter Carol Neeld. She was preceded in death by a son Donald Foster, one granddaughter Kimberly Foster, four brothers; James, Howard, Raymond and George Bryan and one stepson Robert E. Gill.
 
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 11am from the Central Presbyterian Church, 100 West Uwchlan Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335 followed by interment at the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery. Viewing at the church from 10 to 11am.

My sympathy to Milly's family. I remember her at Lukens - always a smile on her face and willing to help anyone. I know she will be missed.

Dear Judy, Roger and family,
So sorry to hear of your loss of Aunt Sis but I am so happy for her. I like to think she is with Uncle Leon,as well as, her many brothers! Very sorry to have missed her service, Glenn and I are on vacation. Please know that our prayers are with you...we have been thinking of you all day today.
