Francis Kenneth (Frank) Moyer

Francis Kenneth (Frank) Moyer passed away on December 7, 2013 at home in his 92th year.  He was the husband of the late Alma Medora Peterson (1999).  He was married for 49 years.  
 
Born in Wilmington, Delaware and at an early age, his family moved to the Coatesville area and was educated in the Coatesville Schools and the former Banks Business College of Philadelphia.  
 
A veteran of World War II and recalled in the Korean War from March, 1951 until September, 1952.  Stationed at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida.  He served with the 9th Air Force during World War II from August, 1942 until discharged September, 1945, serving in Africa and the European Theater.
 
Frank was a member of the Sell Chapel, Masonic Home.  Masonic Lodge 383 formerly Coatesville Lodge 354 FA&M and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.  
 
He is survived by a daughter, Janice Beetz of Ohio, two grandsons Jeffrey Beetz of Ohio and Jason Beetz of Florida,  two great grandsons, one brother, Sidney Moyer of the Poconos, Pennsylvania.
 
Volunteered for 23 years at the V.A. Bay Pines Medical Center, St. Petersburg, Florida.  
 
Retired from the Veterans Administration in Miami, Florida with 39 years as a supervisor in finance.
 
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery with military honors.  Viewing will be at 10 from to 11:00am.
