Edna Petroskie

Edna Petroskie, 83, of Parkesburg, died Thursday evening, March 19, 2009 at her home. She was the widow of the late John Petroskie, who passed away in 1981 after they had shared 32 years of marriage.

Born in East Carmeron Twp on June 24, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Esther Whary Gilligbauer. Mrs. Petroskie had been living with her daughter Diane.

Mrs. Petroskie is survived by two children, daughter, Joan L. Petroskie of Parkesburg, and her daughter, Diane Marie Budzik, wife of Charlie, of Parkesburg; grandchildren, Charlie Budzik Jr., husband of Lisa, of Parkesburg, Michaeal Budzik, husband of Melissa, of Parkesburg; great granddaughter, Faith Anne; sisters, Alice Leitzel of Richfield, PA and Bertha Stevens of Trevorton, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held at the Funeral Home from 10 AM until the time of the service. The interment will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Northumberland Memorial Park, Shamokin, PA.
