We offer our prayers for comfort and peace - HIS peace. You have lost a husband, father, and grandfather. We have lost a friend - a best friend. But we grieve "not as others" for we know he is in that city where "the roses never fade", where there is no more tears, nor death, "neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain". And we will meet again. Please let us know if we can be of any help.

To Thelma and the family. I thank the Lord for the times I had with Tom and the family, at church, riding motorcycles on long and short trips. I miss those trips without Tom & Tom!!!! I am glad that they are united and that someday we will all be together, united in Christ!

I am grateful for the times Tom helped me with my lawn equipment problems and for the times I helped him, a brother mechanic!! I also appreciate the thoughtfulness of Tom & Thelma for always asking me for dinner when I would drop by in the evening. Tom's giving heart has been such a blessing to others, including me! His desire to help others and trying to meet their spiritual needs has been a inspiration.

It's been said that if a man dies with a handful of friends he is a blessed man, and yes Tom was a blessed man. He was a blessing to many. Even in his last days he was loved by many!! Thank you God for TOM.
Thank you Thelma for sharing Tom with us. Thank you Tom for being a faithful friend.

Thelma,

We are sorry to read about the passing of your husband on Thursday. I was at Mom's on Saturday and we were trying to find a phone number to call and ask how he was doing when his name appeared on Wilde's website. Mom was saddened about his passing and wants you to know she wants to be at the funeral. We miss seeing you at the restaurant, but ask about you every week. Our prayers go out to you and your family at this time.

Sincerely,

Mom and Becky

Dear Thelma and Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Tommy. I know we haven't seen each other for a while but think of you all often. My dad, Arlie always loved coming over to your home to visit and bring his lawn mower over for a tune up before the mowing season started. I often think about our family who have gone on. Aunt Rena and Uncle Kever, Granny, Pappy, Uncle Dayton, my dad and many others. They are all with the Lord, and now Tommy has joined them, enjoying his new body, and praising the Lord above. We pray for you and your family, for peace and comfort during this time. It certainly isn't easy, but knowing the Lord, gets us through these very hard times. We love you and will continue to remember you and the family in our prayers.
Love,
Linda Cornett Dowell and family

Mr. Cornett was a good man. I always enjoyed talking with him whenever I needed small engine repair work. He was a very good mechanic and was honest and fair with his work. I will miss his talents and his soft spoken manner.
