Robert G. Wolfe, 89, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022. He was the husband of the late Ruth Ann "Sis" McEwing Wolfe, who passed in 2019, for over sixty-three years. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Elmer K and Caroline Oestringer Wolfe.

Bob worked as a mechanic on locomotives for Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville, retiring in 1995. He was a life member of the Parkesburg Fire Company, a member of the Lukens Veterans Guild, and a member of the Parkesburg Presbyterian Church.

Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he loved the outdoors. He also loved telling stories and jokes with his family and friends. He and Sis provided services for "Meals on Wheels" for twenty years.

He is survived by his daughters: Barbara (James) Hery, of Belfast, Tennessee, Judith (Ron) Miller of Parkesburg, and Cindy Wolfe of Reading, PA; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a sister, Janet Saalbach of Gap, PA.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Wright.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 10th, 2022, at 11:00 am., from the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg. Visitation will start at 10:00 am and interment will follow at Forks of the Brandywine Cemetery, in Glenmoore, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made in Bob's name to either Parkesburg Presbyterian Church or Parkesburg United Methodist Church.
