Robert C. Beam

Robert C. Beam, 94, of Honey Brook, died on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Coatesville VA Hospice Unit. He was the husband of the late Elsie Mae Swisher who died in 2009. They shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Elverson, he was the son of the late William and Roxanne Fryberger Beam.
Bob was a County resident all his life. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He was self employed, for 29 years, as a real estate broker. 
Bob was an avid Phillies fan.
He is survived by three children: Clarence "Skip" Bernard, husband of Ivy, Deborah Baldwin, wife of Clement, and Bruce R. Beam, husband of Julie, seven grandchildren,10 great grandchildren, one great, great granddaughter and four siblings; Raymond Beam, Elmyra Thomas, Blanche Hilton and Pauline Kenworthy. He was preceded in death by five siblings.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Coatesville VA Medical Center, 1400 Black Horse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320.
