So sad to hear of his passing. I did not remember him until I saw his picture, but then, had not seen him since probably our Grandmother Susie Sipe passed away. Raymond was my first cousin, I am the daughter of his uncle Flavius Weaver. My brother, Jim, is also still alive. He is only 82 now. I am sorry it takes a time like this to say hello to our family members. If any of you would like to contact me, my e-mail is [email protected]. So sorry for your loss. However, my father died at age 52, so in many ways you were blessed having him so long. Again, my deepest sympathies.

I am sending my condolence. My brother George and I wwnt to Pa a few years ago and we were warmly welcomed by all our relatives that we had a chance to meet. We are the sons of Ernest Weaver and we live in Ohio. It had been a long time since we had been to Pa. We had a real good time chatting with our uncle Raymond and Laura. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I am so sorry such a wonderful man as my uncle died. He was my mother's brother. I held him in high esteem and have loved him much for many years. He looked so much like his father when he got older he could have been his twin. I'm sorry that I was not able to attend the memorial as I have health problems. I would like to keep in touch. Ruth, I'm sorry to have missed you. Love, Susie

I found this poem on the internet, not sure who the author is but it pretty much says how I feel right now. I miss and love you Dad.

God saw you getting tired
when a cure was not to be;
So he closed his arms around you
And whispered "Come to me".

You didn't deserve what you
went through, and so He gave
you rest, God's garden must be
beautiful, He only takes the best.

And when I saw you sleeping,
so peaceful and free from pain,
I could not wish you back
again to suffer that again.
