Raymond A. Bernard, 49, of York, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009 at his home. He was the husband of Lisa Jean Sabbi Bernard of Honey Brook.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Deana Barrage Bernard of Paradise and the late Raymond D. Bernard. Raymond was a 1977 graduate of CASH. He was employed by Safe Guard in New Holland.

He is survived, in addition to his wife and mother, by two children, Raymond D. and Sterling A. Bernard, both at home, his grandmother Edna Barrage of West Chester, brother Richard Bernard, husband of Laura, of Gap, nephew R.J. Bernard of Gap and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Bernard.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.
