Olive B. Taltoan, 84, of Coatesville, died on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the widow of the late Sherman Taltoan. Born in Nine Points, Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Elizabeth Dickinson Miller.
Olive was a member of the Benardtown Baptist Church of S. Coatesville.
She is survived by six children, Gaynell R. Middleton of Coatesville, Irene F., wife of Sterling Johnson of Philadelphia, Sherman H. Taltoan of Coatesville, Lawrence L. Taltoan and wife Mary of Coatesville, Helen M., wife of Willard Middleton of Coatesville and David B. Taltoan of Coatesville, 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren, one sister, Sara, wife of Richard Ruth of East Fallowfield and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by nine sisters and four brothers.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Parkesburg Methodist Church, 411 Main St., Parkesburg with a viewing from 9 to 11AM. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion AME Cemetery, Atglen, PA.
Arrangements are being entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.
