Norman J. Disanto, Sr., 82, of Denver, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, February 6th under the care of Heartland Hospice in the Reading. He was the son of the late Elizabeth (Smith) and Franklin Winward.
Norman served in the US Army and then worked for the former Lukens Steel Co. for 42 years as a “steel heater.”
Norman enjoyed watching basketball, and the TV shows “Blue Blood” and “Highway Thru Hell.” He also loved to eat at the Park Place Diner and Restaurant in Denver, PA.
He is survived by two children: William F. Disanto, Sr., husband of Carol, of New Holland and Michelle L. Disanto of Narvon; and his best friend, Kenneth W. Kurtz of Narvon.
The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11 AM with a visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of the service, with interment at Hibernia Cemetery.
