Moses O. London, 87, of Parkesburg, passed away on April 25, 2009 while under the loving care of the Harrison House Nursing Staff of Christiana, PA.
He was the husband of the late Doris Dickinson London who passed away in 1995 after 53 years of marriage.
Born in Christiana, Pa., he was the son of the late John and Agnes Marshall London.
Before his retirement, he was employed by the now defunct Lenover Corporation of Atglen and the Green Giant (Pillsbury) Company of Parkesburg.
He enjoyed watching game shows and old westerns and being around family and friends. He was a quiet and gentle man who was loved by many.
He is survived by two sons, Moses London, Jr. and wife Estella and Daniel London and wife Janis all of Coatesville. Two sisters, Geneva Clark of York, Pa. and Viola Brown of Lancaster, Pa., fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and eight great, great grandchildren.
He was predeceased in death by one son Dwayne London and daughter Brenda London, eleven brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 9 AM on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Passtown, 120 Barber Ave., Coatesville, PA. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing being held at 8 to 9 AM until the time of the service.
Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery of Atglen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Moses' honor to the "Harrison Senior Living of Christiana" earmarked Resident Fund and sent to the Harrison Senior Living, Attn. Brian Milley, 41 Newport Ave., Christiana, PA 17509.
